Wilbur Banks Grogan, 90, of 400 Blue Ridge Street, Martinsville, VA died Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County. Born in Henry County on September 22, 1920, he was the son of the late Minnie Merriman Grogan and Morton Grogan. In addition to his parents , he was predeceased by his wife, Evelyn Spears Grogan; two sisters, Mamie Lambeth and Myrtle Green and four brothers, Eugene Grogan, Roy Grogan, Peyton Grogan and Henry Grogan. Mr. Grogan had previously been employed as a foreman with W. M. Bassett Furniture Company. He was a member of Broad Street Christian Church of Martinsville. Surviving are two daughters, Yonnie Bosquet and husband, Jerry, of Kinston, NC and Kay Lewis and husband, Jay, of Martinsville; one sister, Louise Grogan of Martinsville and two grandsons, Louis Grogan Bosquet and Carter Wesley Bosquet.
