Wendell J. “Junie” Ondria, Jr., 80, of Hanover Twp., died on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at St. Luke’s Bethlehem Hospital. He was the loving husband of Eleanor (Koltai) Ondria for 56 years. Born in New York City, he was the son of the late Wendell Sr. and Helen (Mitchell) Overlauer. He was a truck driver for 35 years before retiring from Farm & Home Oil Co. in 1996. Wendell honorably served his country with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of Notre Dame Church of Bethlehem. He was an avid bowler and was a fan of the Phillies and the Eagles. He enjoyed working on anything with a motor, and tinkering in his garage. He also enjoyed watching Jeopardy, Price is Right, Wheel of Fortune and doing crossword puzzles. Surviving: In addition to his loving wife, daughters, Kathy Brown and husband Timothy of Hanover Twp.; Wendy Heist and husband Brian of Bethlehem; sons, Charles of Quakertown; Michael and his wife Dina of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Timothy, Elizabeth, Kelly, Benjamin, Courtney, Charles Jr., Michael, Jessica, Julia, Trey, Jackson; great-grandson, Aaron; brother, Dr. John Ondria and wife Ella of Palmerton.
