E. Wayne Steele, age 73, passed away on Thursday, July 22, 2004. Born in McKeesport, PA, on January 18, 1931, he was the son of Edwin and Pauline Johnson Steele. A graduate of Purdue University in 1953, he was a Distinguished Student receiving a degree in Industrial Engineering. He worked 35 years in the grocery business working for Kroger Food Co. in Cincinnati, Houston, and parts of the Midwest. He later took a position with H.E.B.
