Wayne L. Kissinger, 73, passed away on May 23, 2020 in Orange Park, FL. He was born on June 5, 1946 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Walter L. and Lillian Isabella Kissinger.

It was back when it was safe for him to ride his bike for miles around 103rd Street on the Westside. He collected friends everywhere. His family owned a little corner grocery store where everyone knew the Kissingers, especially Wayne. Some people didn’t even know he had two stay-at-home sisters, Susan and Karen! Even disabilities from a cerebral hemorrhage didn’t slow Wayne down for long. He was able to work at Copeland’s Produce and later drive a propane delivery truck for Griffis Brothers. On the weekends he mowed grass. Never still! He went dancing every weekend too, collecting more friends the whole time. His last few years were spent at a senior care facility where he loved Bingo, helping his fellow residents, and going out to eat—a lot!

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, DeeDee Kissinger; brother, Darrell Stevens; grandfather Leslie G. Manucy, Sr.; and grandmother Lilly Taylor.

He is survived by his sisters, Susan Estrada (Paul) and Karen Habell (David); nephews, Davy Habell and Randall Moore (Melissa); nieces, Dyan Barno, Stephanie David (Jeff), Devon Lynn (Mike), Ursula, Devola, and Jessica Stevens; many great- nieces, nephews; and many friends.
