Wayne L. Bagnall, the son of Albert L. and Ethel (Woodruff) Bagnall, was born October 21, 1921 at Hiteman, Iowa. He moved to Newton, Iowa in 1925. Wayne graduated from Newton High School in 1940.
Wayne was united in marriage to Marge Felton on August 16, 1942 in Newton. They and three sons. In 1987, he retired as President of Dealer’s Warehouse Co.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents. Those left to honor his memory are his wife, Marge; three sons, Gary and his wife, Joyce of Johnston, Iowa; Gregg and his companion, Jeff Van Ommen, of West Des Moines, Iowa; Brent and his wife, Deborah of Newton; his four grandchildren, Kim Douglas and her husband, Rob of Ankeny, Iowa; Amy Van Blair and her husband, Dave of Dallas, Texas; Kristi Bagnall of Iowa City, Iowa; and Madison Bagnall of Newton; three great-grandchildren, Anna and Katelyn Douglas of Ankeny, Iowa; and Chase Van Blair of Dallas, Texas; and his three sisters, Ruth Dennis of Urbandale, Iowa; Marcella Lane and her husband, Don of Newton; and Wilma Lane and her husband, Leo of Newton.
