Wayne Albert Thomas, 73, of Arvada, CO passed away at his home on February 28, 2021 with his loving family by his side.  He made his grand entrance into this world on September 24, 1947 in Broken Bow, Nebraska.
Wayne served his country for 2 years in the army.  While in Viet Nam he became a Staff Sargent as an Armor Intel Specialist.  After his time in the army he worked several years for Montgomery Wards as a Department Manager.  He spent the next 20 years working for multiple contractors who managed the Rocky Flats Weapons development systems for the Department of Defense.  His top secret clearance enabled him to be a Material Control Manager who kept track of radioactive materials. 
Wayne loved his family and his friends.  He had a big heart and helped many in
need.  He was a master craftsman in wood working and leather crafting.
His passion included:  Golf, Hunting, Camping, ATV’s and Family.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 50 years Linda Dee Boswell Thomas of Arvada, CO, a son Chad Eric Thomas, a daughter Lindsay Dee (David) Harmsen, Grandchildren: Taylor James Thomas, Cody Samuel Thomas, Alexa Dee Dorothy Harmsen and Evan Michael Dyakovich Harmsen, Brothers Charles Donald (Marilyn) Thomas, Ralph Eugene Thomas, Sisters Clara Edna Hale and Joan Marie Canada.  He is also survived by numerous nephew and nieces.  Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Thomas and Helen Jacobson Thomas.
