     Wayne Allen Rhoden was born January 6th in Fairbury, Nebraska. He was the oldest of 5 siblings  In 1952 him and his brother decided to leave home and see what was out there. He didn’t make it too far though, they ended up stopping in Pocatello Idaho and it was here he met the love of his life Reta, working at a diner. It didn’t take long for them to realize they had to be together and they married February 28th 1953. They would spend 68 years together.
     Wayne joined the army and him and his new bride moved to Fort Sill, Oklahoma where they would spend the next two years living on base.  While there, they welcomed 2 daughters. Amelia born December 26th 1954 and Deborah born December 12th 1955.
Being back home they welcomed three more sons, Terry, Jerrold, and David.
     Wayne went to ISU, where he earned is associates degree in drafting in 1967. He got a job at FMC and worked with them until he retired in 1998.
After retirement he really developed a passion for photography. He loved taking pictures of anything outdoors. He couldn’t go anywhere without his camera bag and extra lenses. Him and his wife also loved to travel. They enjoyed taking there motor home out on the road.  Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Reta, his 3 children, David, Debbie, and Jerrold and his siblings.
