MAYS LICK Wava Heminger Lowe Gibbons, 98, a longtime resident of May’s Lick passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at The Willows in Lexington. Mrs. Gibbons was born in Robertson County on October 16, 1919 daughter of Rutherford & Mary Duncan Heminger.
Survivors include a son Frank (Millie) Lowe of Maysville; two granddaughters, Julie Lowe (Jordan) Owens of Lexington and Kim Lowe Garrison of Maysville; seven great-grand children, Allison Lowe (John) Hackworth, Travis (Haven) Lowe, Justin Garrison, Jessica Garrison, Reece Owens, Jonathan Owens and Harper Owens; three great-great-grandchildren, Halle Hackworth, Eli Hackworth and Tinley Lowe; two step granddaughters, Holly (Kyle) Mullikin and Vanessa (Michael) Gardner; four step great-grandchildren, Peyton & Kennedy Mullikin, Amayah & Noah Gardner. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, David J. Gibbons on December 30, 2009; a son Donnie Lowe; a grandson Troy Lowe; two brothers and a sister.
