Wasyl “Bill” Tinyshyn, 80, of New Britain, beloved husband of Valentina “Tina” (Jazkevich), died peacefully on August 20, 2012, at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. Wasyl was born in Storona, Ukraine, on January 17, 1932, son of the late Pavlo and Paraskevia Tinyszin. He worked at New Britain Machine Co. for many years, retiring in 1990. Bill was a founding member and communicant of St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church, New Britain, and was also a member of its choir. He enjoyed trips to Aruba, Florida and Ellensville, NY, and spending time with his family and friends. He leaves three loving sons, Victor Tinyszin, Ihor Tinyszin and his wife Lynne, and Paul Tinyszin and his wife Linda; four grandchildren, Samantha, Victor, Julia, and Emily. He is also survived by his sister Anna and husband Ignacy Konik and brother Mikolaj and wife Tamara Tinyszin; as well as several nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his sister Anastasia Roczniack.
