Ward Allen Scott, 62, of Fort Wayne, passed away unexpectedly on August 22, 2020, at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Born in Albuquerque, NM, on March 24, 1958, to the late Harry and Linda (Kuhn) Scott, Sr. Ward was married to Nancy Bauer in Fort Wayne, on December 28, 1995.
He worked as a drywall finisher/carpenter for his whole career. More than ten years of which were spent working for Eagle Contracting.
Ward had an enormous love and respect for all animals, especially dogs and cats. He and Nancy adopted, rescued or purchased many pets during their marriage. In addition to his pets, he had a great love for Nancy and an amazing work ethic. He loved to work, work and work some more. It didn’t matter if it was at work, at home or helping a friend.
Ward is survived by his wife of 24 years, Nancy Scott; his six fur babies, Isabella, Arabella, Charlie, Cash, Ozzie and Roscoe; two sisters, Laura (Jeff) Comstock and Christy (Phil) Arbogast; a brother, Terry Scott; two nieces, Sasha Harrison and Jena Hirschey; two nephews, Clayton Scott and Phoenix Arbogast; many other family members that loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Harry Scott, Jr.
