Wanda Walker Felder, 73, of Lone Star, SC passed away on August 17 ,2022, surrounded by her family and loved ones, and her beloved Schnauzers, Ziva and Abby.

Mrs. Felder was born on December 31, 1948, in Lexington, NC. She was the daughter of the late James (Jim) Rubin Walker and late Nancy B. Walker.

Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, Richard Allen Felder of the home, a brother James Michael Walker (Alice) of Orangeburg, SC, two nieces, Kristin W. Hewitt (Jimmy) and Sara W. Turner (Jenny) two great nephews Jameson Hewitt, Jake Hewitt, and one great niece, Olivia H. Armstrong (Ike).

Wanda was an avid Canasta player and enjoyed playing cards with the Lone Star Canasta Ladies. She also was a member of Chapter 295 Order of the Eastern Stars and served as Worthy Matron many times. Wanda retired from the University of South Carolina, School of Medicine. She was loved by all.  She was a dedicated wife and loved her family and friends. She was a faithful member of East Bethel UMC and was active until her illness.

Mr. Felder and the family would like to thank the Nurses, CNA’s and Staff at the Crescent Hospice of Sumpter, SC, for going above and beyond their love and care for Wanda. You have truly been a blessing to the Felder Family. Again, thank you all.
