She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Roberson and son-in-law, Chris Harrell of Wilson; son, Willie Thompson, Jr. of Lucama; sister, Elizabeth Whitney of Florida; brother, Billy Edwards of Wendell; three grandchildren.
