Wanda Lee (McKinney) Eberlin passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018 in Newnan, Georgia. Wanda was born on June 19, 1938 in Pembroke, Kentucky. She was predeceased by her parents, William Monroe McKinney and Bunnie Alton (Mitchell) McKinney, and a sister, Shirley Ann (McKinney) Merrick. The family moved to Evansville, Indiana where she attended several grade schools and graduated from Benjamin Bosse High School in 1956.
After marrying the love of her life in 1956, Earl Edward Eberlin of Evansville, they moved to Hollywood, Florida where they lived for 39 years and made many life long friends while raising three children, David Earl Eberlin (Marla Berman), Teresa Louise Salichs (Joseph), and Kyle Edward Eberlin (Julia Mellard). The other loves of her life were the grandchildren, Ryan David Eberlin (Heather), Lisa Marie Eberlin (Seales), Christopher Crowley (Jesika), and Travis Hunter Berman Eberlin (Sofia), Jeffrey Edward Overcash (Angela), Jonathon Joseph Salichs, Jenna Lee Salichs (Fleenor), and Collier McKinney Eberlin. Great grandchildren: Kinley Marie Seales, Logan Ryan Eberlin, Easton Anthony Eberlin, Jaylee Louise Fleenor, and Cohen Christian Crowley.
Also survived by one nephew, Jason Todd Merrick (Beth), a great nephew, Mason Merrick, and a sister-in-law, Betty Louise Eberlin Dunham. After many years in South Florida they moved to New Smyrna Beach, Florida where she was a member of the Sand Dollar chapter of the Embroidery Guild, Christian Women Club, Woman’s Club of NSB and Red Hats. Ten years in New Smyrna Beach and then a move to Newnan, Georgia to be near some family. She enjoyed many new friends, Bunco, and Bridge. Wanda loved traveling both foreign and domestic, her many friends, and wonderful family.
