Wanda J. Boese, 73, of South Williamsport and formerly of Nampa, Idaho passed away peacefully Thursday, March 17, 2022 surrounded by family. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend who leaves behind many that adored her.
Born March 18, 1948 in Sacramento, California she was a daughter of the late Evelyn (King) Moore.
Wanda was employed at West Caldwell Hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse. For over 40 years she worked in the medical field and cared for others. Wanda enjoyed traveling, dancing, horse riding, especially endurance racing, drinking Pepsi and being outdoors. She relished in time spent at the lake and cabin, going camping and fishing. She loved her family dearly and being a Grammy. Her fun loving, spontaneous, exuberant personality will certainly be missed.
Surviving are four children Patrick Knight (Kathy) of Memphis, Tennessee, Sean Knight (Liz) of Denver Colorado, Seth Boese (Elisa) of Lubbock, Texas and Erin Armond (Chad) of South Williamsport, Pennsylvania; 11 grandchildren, Patrick, Carson, Calvin, Maegan, Kasey, Emily, Breanna, Bailee, Blaire, Victoria, and Jensen; two great grandchildren Tres and Graham and one on the way; two nephews and best friends, Sandy Anderson (John) and Denise Sanchez.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ted and Jim Moore.
