Wanda F. Hawkins, 79, of Walnut Hill, IL, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia. Wanda was born on July 12, 1939 in Kentucky, the daughter of Curtis E. Lathem and Genella Burge.
Wanda is survived by a special friend: Larry Sloat of Walnut Hill, IL; one son: William C. Popwell of Arkansas; two daughters: Brenda Baughman and Barbara Griffis both of Florida; ten grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Wanda is preceded in death by her parents; one brother: Kenny; three sisters: Jerry, Dorothy and Judy. Wanda loved her four-legged companions. She enjoyed farming, and spending time with her family and friends.
