Walter Stanley Loiewski, age 80, of Weston and former long-time Norwalk resident, died peacefully at his home on Friday, July 15. Born in Norwalk on December 19, 1930, he was the son of the late Stanley and Catherine Loiewski. Walter served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a graduate of the Williams College of Banking. He was a banker with the Union Trust Company in Norwalk for 30 years and a former president of the Norwalk Exchange Club. Survivors include his son David C. Loiewski, David’s wife Maria and sons Christopher and Daniel.
