Walter Robert “Bob” Plack of Burlington passed away on Sunday at Samaritan Hospice Inpatient Virtua Hospital, Mt. Holly at the age of 85. Bob proudly served in the US Army and was the Past Commander of VFW Post 1817 in Burlington. A longtime Burlington resident, he was a parishioner of All Saints RC Church and a member of St. Paul’s Senior Citizens.
He worked as a supervisor for Hercules and then Domino Sugar in Philadelphia before his retirement. In his spare time Bob enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Irene (nee:Lovendoski)Plack; nephews: Robert Paul, Robert Paul, III (Taffy), Billy Rasar (Tiffany), Joe Rasar; nieces: Theresa Rasar (Greg), Lilly Rasar and his sister in law Pearl Paul.
