Walter Ray Bishop
Walter Ray Bishop, 86, of Albright, died Friday, August 11, 2017, at home with family by his side.
He was born September 2,1930, in Albright, the son of the late George B. and Elsie May Roy Bishop.
Walter was a loving father and grandfather. He was a head cashier for A&P Tea Company, served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and was a former member and Deacon at Hillcrest Chapel in Terra Alta. He is the last survivor of his immediate family.
He is survived by his daughter, Connie Raye (Bishop) Ervin and husband, Carl of Kingwood; three grandchildren, Tara Johnston and husband, Michael, Jacob Ervin and Megan Adkins and Melissa Taylor and husband, Nick; four great grandchildren, Keiara & Cailin Johnston and Brady & Jay Taylor.
He was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Elinor Sue Kirk Bishop and a brother, Gerald F. Bishop.
