Mr. Walter P. Johnson, age 65, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 20, 2007. He was born in the small town of Colquitt, GA., to Harvey and Kathleen Johnson. He spent most of his childhood in that area. At the age of 17 he then joined the United States Air Force.
Walter was a loving husband, father and friend whose voice and presence will be sorely missed. His heart gave in, but now God is in Control.
Walter is survived by his wife, his son Walter Jr., his daughter Doris, his grandson Pierce, his brothers Jimmy and Clint, and his sisters Jean, June and Debra. He is preceded in death by his parents.
