Walter A. Peck, 55, husband of Karen (Mattaboni) Peck of Bristol passed away suddenly at Bristol Hospital on Sunday September 6, 2009.
Walter was born in Torrington on February 1, 1954 son of Genevieve (Bottass) Peck and the late Vincent Peck.
Mr. Peck worked for the State of Connecticut Department of Public Safety Special Licensing and Firearms and was known throughout the state for his work with the state police and gun dealers.
In addition to his loving wife, Karen, he is survived by his beloved daughter, Laurin Peck, of Bristol; his mother Genevieve of Thomaston; his four sisters and brothers-in-law, Cheryl and Roger Descoteaux of Thomaston, Elaine and Herb Stebbins of Warren, MA, Kathi and Walter Olszewski of Warren, MA and Crystal and Donald Lambert of Thomaston and many nieces and nephews.
