MARZIANIWalter J. “Walt”, age 68, passed away peacefully at home with his family on Dec. 8, 2021. Walter was born in Moro D’oro, Abruzzo, Italy. He wasthe son of the late Nicolo and Gloria (DeMarco). His family immigrated to the United States in 1956 where they settled in the 49th street sectionof Philadelphia, then later Overbrook. Walter was a skilled bricklayer who was proud of his craft for over 40 years. He worked for many contractors and Union Local 1. Walter was known for his outgoing, gregarious personality. He could always be found smiling, laughing and singing. Walter was also knownfor his love of The Beatles.Survived by his devoted wife of 37 yrs. Joanne (nee D’Alesandro), his son Walter (fiancé Valarie), his grandson Joseph, his brothers Nicolo andFrank, his sisters Gloria (Anthony) Mari and Cristina (Joseph) DiTommaso, his sister and brother in-laws Rosemarie, Mike, Janet and Mark , manycousins, nieces and nephews and was predeceased by his brother Maurizio “Morris”.
