Walter Henry Trent, Jr., 55, of 2745 Sandy Creek Rd., Dry Fork, VA died at his residence Monday, June 7, 2010. Born February 14, 1955 in Danville, he was the son of the late Walter Henry Trent, Sr. and the late Josephine Anderson Trent. He was married to Nancy Thompson Trent of the residence. He was a member of United Baptist Church, formerly Keen Street Baptist Church and was employed in maintenance with Caraustar, formerly Star Paper Tube. In addition to his wife of the residence, he is survived by a daughter, Staci Trent Barker of Danville; a son, Scott Thompson Trent of Dry Fork; a sister, Jo Anne Easome of Danville and his brothers, Richard Trent of Dry Fork, Ernest Trent of NC, John Trent of Martinsville and Eddie Trent of VA. He is also survived by two grandsons, Caulier Trent Barker and Waylon Trent Barker. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Shirley Tate and Carol Shelton.
