Walter H. Penn, 81, of Bethlehem, died Friday, August 22, 2008, at Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital in Bethlehem. He was the husband of Audrey S. (Shell) Penn for 22 years and the late Lucille Cousins who died in 1982 . Born in Reedsville, NC he was the son of the late Henry and Tessy (Rucker) Penn. Walter was employed by the Bethlehem Steel Corp. as a foreman in the foundry for 37 years until retiring. He was a Marine Veteran of WWII. He was a member of IBPOE of W Elks Bethel Lodge 1284 where he served as Exhalted Ruler for 6 years. Survivors: his wife Audrey at home; sons Tyrone Cousins of Allentown, Kevin Cousins of Lansdowne, Bryant Perry and his wife Trish of Bethlehem, Eugene Kent of Lakewood, Co., Karl Kent and his wife Tracy of Bethlehem; daughter LaFond McRae of Nashua, NH; brother James Penn of NC; Uncle James Gunn and his wife Arlene of Bethlehem; daughter-in-law Brenda Kent of NC and a host of Nieces and Nephews. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by sons Edmund and Dwayne Kent.
