Walter (Fred) Brower, 82, of Anderson and formerly of Muncie, passed way Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the Northview Care Center in Anderson after an extended illness. He was born December 14, 1928 in Elwood to Clell and Elizabeth (Noffsinger) Brower. Walter worked 39 years as an equipment supervisor for Conrail. He was a 50 year member of the Eagles Aerie No.
Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years Martha (Plummer) Brower, 4 sons Don Brower; New Paris, Ohio, Gary Brower (wife-(Sharon); Anderson, Frederick Scott Brower; Muncie, Adrian Brower; Muncie, 1 daughter Sandra Brower; Richmond, 1 brother Billy Brower (wife-Debbie); Muncie, 2 sisters Emma Lutz (husband-Jack); Syracuse, and Freda Bird (husband-Floyd) Muncie, 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Walter was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bob Brower and sister Mary Reed.
