It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, husband, father, brother and friend. Walter “Chip” Vannette Jr., age 44, went to be with our Lord on September 8, 2009 in Fremont, California. Chip was a long time resident of Flagstaff where he graduated of Flagstaff High School and Northern Arizona University. He loved hiking in Arizona, playing his guitar, and sharing time with his many friends.
He leaves behind his wife and love of his life, Marcy (Baker); his parents, Walter and Trenda Vannette; his children, Mychal Vannette, Jessica Vannette, Jennifer Vannette, Jeremy Mejia and family, Amy Klinkhammer and family, Calvin Brady, and Tyler Brady; his brothers, Aaron Vannette and Charles Vannette and family; his sister, Tena White and family; his grandmothers, Eunice Vannette and Gladys Aalbers; his grandsons, Erick Christiansen and Aydon Mason; his godson, Mika England; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
