Born in Duluth Minnesota to Wallis R. Sanford and Marilyn J. Bero.
After high school Wally joined the U.S. Marine Corp. He worked as an Industrial
Refrigeration Technician working with the harvest from Yuma, Arizona to Salinas,
California. He also took his skills to Alaska where he worked on the North Slope. Wally
never stayed in one place to long. He traveled, the country and Southeast Asia and
always dream’t of buying a boat and sailing the ocean.
He was preceded in death by his father Wallis R. Sanford.
He is survived by his mother Marilyn Bero Duluth, Minnesota, Sister Shari (Rick)
Andasola Hesperus,Colorado, Sister Debbie Sobanja Fairbanks Alaska, Brother Steven
Sanford Minneapolis, Minnesota, Sister Michelle Sanford Duluth, Minnesota, a niece
and two nephews. Two great nieces and a great nephew.
