Wallace M. Cravens, 76, died at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at his home in rural Huntington County, IN. . Mr. Cravens was born August 7, 1934 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Roscoe and Ruth (Walker) Cravens. His parents preceded him in death. Wallace married Linda Downs November 21, 1980.
His wife survives in Huntington. Mr. Cravens was formerly a railroad conductor and retired from Conrail with 22 years of service. Additional survivors include: two sons: Richard Lee Davis and Steven Davis, both of Indianapolis, a daughter, Annette M. Cravens, Huntington, a brother, Doug (Carol) Cravens, Maumee, Ohio and two sisters, Carol (Ronald) Ruble, Warren, and Diana (Rev. Russell) Waggoner, Big Lake, Indiana, 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a son: Wallace M. Cravens, Jr., two brothers: Louise G. and Ronald Cravens.
