Wade married the Love of his life Katherine Babic in Granite City, Illinois on Sunday, February 14, 1971.
Wade was a loving husband and father, who cherished making memories with his family. He had so much pleasure in going fishing and golfing with his grandson.
Wade really enjoyed being outdoors, nature, and traveling to place like Wyoming, Alaska, Blue Ridge Parkway, Bahamas, Mexico, Texas and Arizona.
Wade was an active man that enjoyed life and the people around him. Wade was a United States Army Veteran who proudly served his country.
Wade was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Louise Coley, Carrie Osbourne, Beulah Simpson, and Ralph Simpson.
Wade is survived by his loving wife; his two children, Julie Gwynn of Gallatin, TN., Scott Simpson, of Fenton, MO.; three sisters, Callie Robbins of Mooresville, IN., Emma Sutton of Monrovia, IN., Sandy Galbreath of Martinsville, IN.; three brothers, Walter Simpson of Indianapolis, IN., Wayne Simpson of Indianapolis, IN., J.R. Simpson of Mooresville, IN.; six grandchildren, Christine Baugus, Angel Simpson, Hope Simpson, Savannah Simpson, Raiden Gwynn, Malika Gwynn; others survivors include, Milan and Vicky Babic, Irene & Jake Toenyes, Pete and Eva Babic, Millie and Rick Holland, Lazar and Jodi Babic.
