W. Harrold Kingery, the son of Elmer and Birdie E. Brown Kingery, was born July 4, 1928 in Newton, Iowa. He attended Newton High School and was a lifelong resident of Newton. Harrold served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II. Police Department officer in 1954.
on March 6, 1965, Harrold was united in marriage to Judith A.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Willa; a son Duane in Infancy; and his two brothers, Larry “Wink” and Clarence Kingery. Those left to honor his memory are his wife, Judy; his two sons and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Joyce; and Ron Kingery, all of Newton; his daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Eric Eirkson of Albion, Iowa; three grandchildren, Chirstopher and Jenny Eirikson and KaCee DeKoning; his two brothers and sisters-in-law, Walter and Irene and Clifford “Buzz” and Carol Kingery; two sisters and brother-in-law, Mabel Hobbs; and Myrt and Herb Schwarz, all of Newton; and his two sister-in-laws, June Kingery of Kellogg, Iowa and Sandy Kingery of Des Monies, Iowa.
