She was born on June 28, 1972 in Milwaukee to Judith Peavy. She was united in marriage to Rahim Salahuddin on October 7, 2011 in Wisconsin Rapids. She enjoyed movies, going to parks, and spending time with her family. Her passion was cooking and she started a business, Food for Tha Soul, as a result of going to the Wisconsin Rapids farmers’ market. Her specialty was cornbread muffins, collard greens, macaroni and cheese.
She is survived by her husband; children: Porsha Peavy, Erica (Lloyd) Cobb, Vonsheila Peavy, Bianica Pinion, DeJohn Nash, Valencia Nash, De’Andre Johnson, and Joshua Peavy; brother: Earl Poe; sisters: Veronica Poe and Neesie (Raymond) Cieslak; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother; brothers: Mark Peavy and Michael Peavy; and her grandmother: Shirley Jackson.
