WINSTED –PARSONS – Mrs. Viva Elaine Cowlter Parsons, died Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at Laurel Hill Health Care, at the age of 80 years. She was the loving wife of the late Russell Leslie Parsons. She was born on November 11, 1926 in Mount Kisco, NY. She leaves behind two sons, Lawrence Parsons of New Milford and Albert Parsons of Paterson, NJ and two daughters Loretta Benedict of Torrington, CT and Lorraine Jepsen of Stratford, CT. She is also survived by a sister, Anna B. Cowlter Squeglia of Danbury, CT; three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Viva was a resident of Laurel Hill Assisted Living in Winsted. She will be buried in Fort Edward, NY.
