Virginia Lou Williamson, 86, resident of Deming passed away Wednesday September 2, 2009 at Mimbres Memorial Nursing Home.
Virginia was born August 7, 1923 in Bellefontaine, Ohio to Orva and Irma Fitchthorn Foulk. She was a credit clerk in the field of retail sales and has been a resident of Deming for 11 years having previously lived in Arizona. Locally, Virginia was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, James D. Williamson and his wife Patsy of Florence, SC; Gary A . Williamson and his wife Charlotte of Sidney, OH; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Earl Williamson on August 17, 2006.
