Virginia Wesner, 95, of Peoria, Arizona, formerly of Centralia, passed away Monday, March 4, 2019. She was born December 12, 1923 in Garber, Oklahoma, daughter of Elmer Curran and Maude (Forbes) Curran. She married Harold Wesner on May 9, 1943 in New Orleans and he preceded her in death on August 4, 2006.

Virginia is survived by a daughter-in-law: Sandy Wesner of Centralia; three grandsons: Ryan Jurgensmeyer and wife Jody of Churchill, Tennessee, Gene Jurgensmeyer and wife Rita of Carlyle, and Robert Ross and wife Paula of Foristell, Missouri; five great-grandchildren: Eleanor, Rosalie, Adam, Alyssa, and Robbilynn; five great-great-grandchildren; a special niece: Rusty Gibson and husband Paul of Buckeye, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents: Elmer and Maude Curran, a son: Richard D. Wesner, a granddaughter: Sherri Lynn Jurgensmeyer, and sister and brother-in-law: Jean Baldwin and Dr. Richard Baldwin.

Virginia and her husband, Harold, owned and operated Wesner Pest Control in Centralia from 1951 until they retired. She graduated from Centralia Township High School in 1944, attended Centralia Junior College and MacMurray College in Jacksonville, Illinois. In 1997 Virginia and Harold moved to Arizona. She loved traveling in her camper with her husband, spending time with her family and friends.
