Virginia W. Roesel, 93 of Senoia, GA passed away Thursday, March 22, 2018. She was born May 7, 1924 in Gay, GA to the late Hoy Wilson and Emma Whitley Wilson. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Billy” Roesel, her brother Lamar Wilson, her daughter-in-Law Sandra Hayes Roesel and her grandson John Thomas “Smokey” Barnett.
Mrs. Roesel was employed by Southern Mills, Playtex and the Girl Scouts of America. She served as past president of the Newnan Art Association.
She is survived by her children, Rick Roesel and Louise (Johnnie) Barnett; grandchildren, Agatha Roesel-Bresnan (Paul), Jessica Roesel (Scott) Quigg and Chad (Monica) Watkins; great-grandchildren, Ian Watkins, Addison Watkins, Hadley Roesel Quigg, Riley Roesel Quigg, Zoe Roesel Quigg and Keri Roesel Quigg.
