Virginia Valeria (Hague) Newton, 94 of North East, MD, died Monday, September 1, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Still Pond, MD, on June 29, 1920, she was the daughter of the late William Nelson and the late Melvina Elizabeth (Willis) Hague. She was the wife of the late James Irwin Newton, Jr. who died Nov. 28, 1999.
Mrs. Newton attended the Adult Day Services at Union Hospital for over 8 years. She was a member of Laurel Presbyterian Church and North East United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children: Patricia Ann Grazioli of Manchester, PA, James Irwin Newton III of North East, MD and Susan Elizabeth Newton of North East, MD; her half-sister: Esther Husfelt of Cecilton, MD; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren..
