Virginia made her home in Crestwood at an early age, when she married Lindsay “T” Smith Jr. and raised five children on the family dairy farm.
Virginia was one of the first Rainbow Girls of the Eastern Star and the first
Kindergarten teacher in Crestwood in 1955, as well as a Girl Scout leader and served many years in the cafeteria at Crestwood elementary. Most
Above all else, her love for little children and the Lord carried her through her life, where she has left an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone who knew her.
