Virginia was born on September 21, 1935, in Stoneville, North Carolina. In 1955, Virginia and her husband, Jack Adkins, made Fort Pierce, Florida their home for the next 64 years.
After 25 years of service, Virginia retired from Bell South/AT&T. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, painting pictures, and most of all family time.
Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Adkins, and her parents, Louie and Thelma Priddy. She is survived by her three daughters, Desarenay Pfaff (George), Tammy Feller (David), and Venus Burch. She also leaves behind four grandchildren (Elizabeth, Christy, Robert, and Ryan) and four great-grandchildren.
