Muncie – Virginia M. DuLaney, 83, formerly of Selma, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2011, at The Waters of Muncie following an extended illness.
Virginia was born in Pennington Gap, Virginia on April 30, 1927, the daughter of Dudley and Eliza (Fleenor) Gilliam and attended Pennington Gap High School.
Mrs. DuLaney worked for Jay County Hospital before her retirement.
Survivors include two sons, Roger Burress (wife-Ginger), Muncie, and Bruce Burress, Florida; three daughters, Mildred Luttrell, (husband-Donald), Surprise, Arizona, Faye Sizemore, Hernando, Florida, and Carolyn Garrett, (husband-Donnie), Muncie; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of over 43 years Walter Haskell DuLaney; five brothers, a sister, and a great granddaughter.
