Virginia Lee Rowe Virginia Lee Rowe, or as known to many as “Granny”, 78, of Nokesville went home to be with the Lord Saturday, October 15, at her residence. Mrs. Rowe had retired as a certified nursing assistant and phlebotomist from Prince William Hospital after 25 years of service. She was kind hearted and always concerned about the well-being of others. After retiring from Prince William Hospital, Mrs. Rowe continued employment with Marshall Manor where she worked with the elderly and Alzheimer’s patients. She had a great passion for helping others, especially the elderly. Mrs. Rowe was an active member of Broad Run Baptist Church. Sports were a passion; the Redskins, the Nationals and LeBron James always had her attention. She cherished time with her family and enjoyed bingo. She had a green thumb and always had beautiful summer flower baskets. She was an animal lover, especially to her two cats Callie and “Ritty-Ritty”. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Foster and husband Ronnie, grandchildren, Kim Martin and husband Stephen, Cynthia Syed and husband Nadeem, Lisa Foster and Cody Rowe; great grandchildren, Rubbia Syed and Beau Thomas; a brother, Ray Ridgley and wife Bonnie and a sister, Elsie Lunsford and husband Bobby, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Rowe, son, Ronnie Rowe and sister, Hilda Blank.
