Virginia Elizabeth Daniels, age 90 passed away peacefully with her family by her side on September 21, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson. “Jenny” was born March 18, 1931, to Alva and Dovie (Castle) Curnutte in Fallsburg, Kentucky.
Shortly after High School, she married Elon Daniels, taking residency in Urbana, Ohio. Thereafter, she gave birth to three children, two daughters, and a son. Some years later the family moved to the Frankton-Elwood area of Indiana where she lived for over fifty years. She was employed at Dickey’s Nursing facility for over twenty years, retiring in 1994. Gardening and cooking were her passions, owning close to fifty cookbooks. It was a holiday tradition that every Christmas the grand and great-grandchildren would gather in her kitchen and make her famous Christmas candy.
Jenny was a role model to many and was loved by all who knew her. She will be sorely missed but never forgotten. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Daniels, her daughter, Sandra Robertson (Randy), her son, Dwayne Daniels (Michele), her sister, Faye Shama, and her beloved dog, Bella.
She is also survived by seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
