Virginia M. “GINNY” (Hood) Carlson a devoted housewife, beloved mother and longtime resident of Stoughton, passed away in West Bridgewater on Thursday, August 11, 2016. She was 85 years old and the beloved wife of the late Gustaf E. “GUS” Carlson. She is survived by her children, Eric R. “RICK” Carlson and his wife Anne of Wareham, Steven G. Carlson of Falmouth and Scott D. Carlson of Stoughton. Other survivors include her loving grandchildren, Cassie Carlson, Jessica Carlson, Cory – Lynn Carlson, Leah Carlson, Robert Carlson, Steven Carlson Jr., Stephen Harrison, Scott Harrison, her sister in law Aina M. McMann, her cherished great-granddaughter Elora Carlson and her daughter in law Jill Carlson.
