Virginia Mae Freeman, 76, of Bloomington, died on Thursday at Golden Living Center. She was born on April 6, 1933 in Monroe County and was the daughter of Hade and Minnie Cox. Virginia was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include one daughter Shirley Ann Freeman of Bloomington, granddaughters, Lee Ann Freeman (Eric Edwards), and Kerri Freeman both of Bloomington, one great granddaughter Alexa Freeman also of Bloomington and one sister Marge Cummins of Greenfield, IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Freeman, two sons, Timothy Lee Freeman and Gary Freeman and two sisters, Thelma Watkins and Dorothy McMurray.
