Virginia D. Nelson, 76, of Bristol, beloved wife of William H. Nelson, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at Bristol Hospital.
She was born November 14, 1933 in New Haven, daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Kelly) Sedon. A longtime resident of Bristol, Virginia loved to travel, especially going to Ireland. She was an avid sports fan of the New York Yankees baseball team and the UCONN Women’s basketball team.
Besides her husband, William, she is survived by her son, Matthew Nelson of Bristol; her two daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Guy Malley of Bristol and Beth and Gil Bourret of Bristol; her two grandchildren, Erin Malley of Bristol and Patrick Bourret of Bristol; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two brothers, John Sedon and Albert Sedon, Jr.
