Virginia L. Crider (nee Pippitt), of Burlington, died Tuesday, December 4th, at the Virtua Health & rehabilitation Center in Lumberton at the age of 90. Born in Riverside, NJ., on May 16, 1917 she was the daughter of the late Wilbur & Belle Pippitt. Formerly employed by the Sears Company, she retired in the early 1980’s from the accounting department of the Fidelity Bank & Trust in Pennsauken.
She was a very active and longtime member of the Presbyterian Church of Burlington and served as a Deacon in the church as well. Predeceased by her husband Richard Crider, Sr., her son; Robert D. Harbeson, Sr., and her grandson; Robert D. Harbeson, Jr., she is survived by her daughter: Alice Higgins of Burlington Township, her son: Mark Harbeson of Mt. Holly, her two sisters: Doris Grant of Riverside and June Williams of Hillsborough, TN., as well as 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
