Virginia C. (Hommel) Hailey of Plymouth, passed away at Life Care Center in Plymouth on August 31, 2021 at the age of eighty-nine. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis Foskett; loving mother of Robin Cotter and her partner Randy Sullivan of Plympton, Deirdre Barrett of Kingston, and Robert Cotter and his wife Lisa of Plymouth; grandmother of Olivia and Hayden Cifrino and April and Jessica Cotter. She was the sister of the late Marie Conlon and leaves four nieces and many grand nieces and nephews.Virginia was born on March 2, 1932 in Boston to the late Arthur and Marie (Scotton) Hommel. She attended school in Quincy and Katherine Gibbs School in Boston. Virginia enjoyed drawing, needlework, and traveling in her younger years.
