On Tuesday, February 9, 2021, Virginia Concepcion Duldulao passed
away at Kaiser San Leandro Medical Center. She was one month shy from her
71st birthday.
Many people would call her Virgie or V-gee and mommy, if you were in
the family. Her children, grandkids, nieces and nephews, always called her “
Mommy V-gee”. She was born in Cabatuan, Isabela on March 12, 1950. She
lived a very simple life in the Philippines, and was very happy. She’s married
to her surviving husband Robert Duldulao Sr. They shared 7 children together,
their family grew increasingly and was beloved by her many grandchildren,
brothers and sisters. No matter who she met, she would be open to sharing
everything about her life and made new friends quite easily. The day came
when she and her husband immigrated to the United States after 59 years in the
Philippines to explore life in the States. She spent 11 years diligently working
as a caregiver, willingly skipping out on any vacations locally or going back to
the Philippines. She spent most of her time with her husband, taking walks,
eating good food, and exploring the Bay Area, when she had that extra time.
Although she realized she would miss out on seeing her family back home,
ultimately, she knew her hard work would benefit the future generations. Her
heart was made out of gold and always put others before herself, she did so,
even towards her last few days.
