Virginia M. Scott, age 98, died on Saturday, October 14, 2017. She was born January 18, 1919 in Columbus, OH.
She was preceded in death by her parents Elizabeth and Claude Booher; brother Herbert Booher; grandson Jason Scott; and her husband of 61 years, Chester Scott.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Scott (Cynthia); daughter, Julianna Page (Charles); granddaughters, Michele Way (Chip) and Jessica Page (Carey Hall); grandson, Colin Scott; and three great-granddaughters.
An avid hiker, Virginia was a longtime member of both the Central Ohio Hiking Club and the Buckeye Trail Association. She was an active member of Advent Lutheran Church, and a member of the North High School Alumna Association. She logged over 3,000 hours of volunteer service at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
