Virginia Anne Costello (delCostello), beloved daughter of Charles & Margaret Costello, left this life she loved to be with her parents and extended family. On September 26, 2012 after a very brief illness she peacefully left us. Anyone who was fortunate enough to know her knew that she was caring, gentle and kind to a fault. She is survived by her brother Herman Costello and his wife Alice, nephew Mark del Costello all of Burlington, niece Donna Michell of Raleigh, N.C. and her husband, Paul Michell and their children, Alison and Trevor.

She was baptized Regina del Costello at All Saints Church in Burlington, N.J. When she went into grammar school at the Lawrence School in Burlington, N.J. her name was changed to what became her legal name, Virginia. She attended Burlington City High School. She was a supervisor at NJ American Water Works for over 40 years. Virginia found goodness in everyone and was always ready to help. She was a very religious person, loved the church and was a daily communicant for many years.

Virginia was active in the CYACS and her class reunions. She enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City with her friends and spending time with her family. Hobbies included interests in fashion and design as well as healthy living and exercise. There is a common saying, “TO KNOW HER IS TO LOVE HER”. This most accurately applied to Virginia for all who knew her loved her. She is sorely missed. The viewing will be held at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union Street, Burlington, from 6 – 8 PM on Sunday September 30, 2012.
