Virgil Wallace, age 62, of Freestone Road, Morehead, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.

Born March 9, 1956, in West Liberty, he was the son of the late Chalmer and Juanita Back Wallace. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Loretta Campbell, and two brothers, Douglas Wallace and Marvin Wallace.

Virgil is survived by two daughters, Leslie Wallace and Janie Wallace, both of Morehead; one son, Kevin and wife Tina Turner of Flemingsburg; three grandchildren, Tyler, Mahala and Jordan Wallace; and the mother of his children, Nora Beth Wallace of Morehead.

Other survivors include five sisters, Ruth Fields of Culver, Indiana, Wanda Swartz of Olympia, Kathy Livingood of Carlisle, Luverne Fultz and Tammy Adams, both of Morehead; two brothers, Eddie Wallace of Richmond and Ralph Wallace of Morehead; nieces and nephews; extended family; and friends.

Virgil had been a forklift operator for Harold White Lumber for 25 years. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and watching NASCAR and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
