Virgil E. KowalskiBay City, MichiganVirgil E. Kowalski passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning February 11, 2015 at Caretel Inns of the Tri-Cities with his loving family at his side. Age 88 years. The son of the late Julius and Julia (Skrzypczak) Kowalski was born September 9, 1926 in Bay City and has resided here all of his life and proudly served his country in the United States Army during WW II. Virgil was the retired owner of Euclid Auto Supply, a life member of B.P.O.E. Lodge # 88, morning Optimist Club of Bay City and a member of the former Euclid Avenue Business Men’s Association. On October 31, 1950 he married his wife of 64 years the former Leota M. Parrent in St. Joseph Catholic Church and she is left to cherish his memories along with one son and daughter-in-law; David V. and Cindy Kowalski of Bay City, two daughters and two sons-in-law; Jeani L. and William Van Someren of San Francisco, CA and Nancy K. and Nick Powning of Cameron, NC, two grandchildren; Kevin and Carly Kowalski and Marlee Powning, three sisters and one brother-in-law; Rose Atwood, Elizabeth and Robert Dupuie and Lillian Kowalski and many nieces, nephews and special friends. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers-in-law; Angie and Jack Cramer, Loraine Kowalski and Earl Atwood and two; brothers; and one sister-in-law; Edward and Roberta Kowalski and Marion Kowalski.At the request of Mr.
